About Kaitlin Maroney

Kaitlin returned to Cavanaugh & Thickens in May of 2023 as the firm’s Marketing Director. Prior, she worked for a legal marketing agency where she oversaw the digital marketing campaigns of 40+ law firms across the US and Canada. Originally from New Jersey, Kaitlin moved to Columbia to attend the University of South Carolina. During her years as a Gamecock, she fell in love with South Carolina and has been here ever since.

Kaitlin now resides in Charleston, SC, where she plays a key role in building out our Mount Pleasant office and presence in the community. She works closely with the marketing coordinator, attorneys, and staff to develop, lead, and oversee all firm marketing initiatives. Her role encompasses many different areas of marketing, client experience, and operations, including web/SEO, strategic planning, graphic design, and more.

In her spare time, she enjoys going to the beach, exploring the city with her Australian Shepherd named Bodie, working out, trying new restaurants, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
